This movie is special in many ways. This movie can break the record of Chinese animated movie NEZHA 2 Which was released this year and became the highest grossing movie of this year, highest crossing animated movie of all time. This movie is a sequel to the 2016 animated /comedy film ZOOTOPIA. Which was the forth highest grossing movie of that year.

Brief story –
.Zootopia is set in a city where anthropomorphic mammals of all kinds coexist, including predators and prey. Judy Hopps, an ambitious rabbit from a small town, becomes the first rabbit police officer in Zootopia. Assigned initially to parking duty, Judy soon takes on the case of several missing predators. She teams up with Nick Wilde, a street-smart fox and con artist, to investigate. Together they uncover a conspiracy involving a substance called Night Howlers that causes predators to go savage, stirring fear and prejudice in the city.The true mastermind is revealed as Assistant Mayor Dawn Bellwether, who orchestrates the plot to create fear and division by turning predators feral, aiming to seize power by exploiting societal tensions. Judy and Nick expose Bellwether’s plan, restoring peace and challenging stereotypes. The story highlights themes of inclusion, tolerance, and breaking down prejudices, as Judy and Nick both prove that anyone can be anything in Zootopia

.The development began as early as 2011 and involved over 900 people in the making. The film took 4-5 years to complete, with elaborate research on animal behavior and fur to create realistic characters.
.The filmmakers created an animal city inhabited by over 64 species, designing environments accommodating animals ranging in size from 2 inches to 27 feet tall.
.They consulted experts such as Americans with Disabilities Act specialists to realistically accommodate size differences.
.The animation features incredibly detailed fur, with some characters having millions of strands of hair, including Judy and Nick each with about 2.5 million hairs, and a giraffe character with 9 million hairs.

.The filmmakers originally created a huge, elaborate set that looked like a handmade theme park, built from scratch with incredible detail. However, this entire set was eventually cut from the film because the story focus shifted towards Judy’s story, and the set no longer fit the narrative. This was a tough decision because the crew had spent an entire year building this beautiful set only to have it removed, highlighting how fluid and evolving the creative process was in making Zootopia.
Another interesting behind-the-scenes tidbit is that the animators recorded the voice actors first and then meticulously matched the animation to every vowel and consonant spoken, tracking those across the 24 frames per second of film. This process helped bring incredible expressiveness to the characters, making them come alive with personality
