.The card trick in the opening sequence is authentic and unedited; it features a “card force“, where the magician makes the audience member pick a predetermined card while appearing to shuffle the deck multiple times as a misdirection.
.Isla Fisher’s character Henley Reeves is depicted as germaphobic, which is why she wears gloves throughout the film.
.The final scene was filmed on the Pont des Arts in Paris, which was famous for having around one million “love locks” on its railings before they were removed in 2015.
FACTS –
.Isla Fisher nearly drowned during the filming of a water tank scene when her chain got stuck underwater, requiring a stuntman to save her.
The sequel, “Now You See Me 2“, released on June 10, 2016, was directed by Jon M. Chu.
