It is one of the much awaited movies of 2025 , which is going to be released on 19 December 2025.Directed by James Cameron, this movie is the third installment of the Avatar franchise. The previous two parts performed exceptionally well at the box office, breaking worldwide records, and the same is expected from the third part . Now it remains to be seen whether Avatar 3 will be able to break the record of Chinese animated movie Nezha 2, which is the highest grossing movie of 2025 so far.It has grossed $2.2 billion at the box office. Which is a record in itself, till now no non-Hollywood film has earned more than one billion dollars.Avatar 3 is expected to break the record of Nezha 2

Story brief
The story picks up one year after Jake Sully and Neytiri settle with the Metkayina Clan. The family is still grappling with grief after the death of their son Neteyam. The plot introduces a new, aggressive Na’vi tribe called the Ash People, led by their fiery leader, Varang, who has allied with Jake’s longtime enemy, Quaritch. This escalating conflict on Pandora brings a more complex and less black-and-white moral perspective, showing different Na’vi cultures and challenging the simple ‘good vs. evil’ narrative seen in earlier films.The film explores deeper character development, new regions of Pandora, and introduces new tribes such as the Wind Traders. “Fire and Ash” aims to continue the epic journey of Jake’s family against rising tensions and devastating consequences on Pandora.
